Cat´s Paw Nebula (NGC 6334)

This object is often rendered with many variations in colors and hues, even when imaged in visible light alone (as in this case). I first tried to color-calibrate using eXcalibrator v5.0, a software that uses the spectral profiles of hundreds of stars in the field of view to come up with weights for each color channel, but then settled with the Pixinsight approach.
